Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, Great Britain: Colin Smythe Ltd. 1976, 1st edition. Ex-library book in good condition with several stamps inside the book and the library name stamped along the top of the closed page ends. There is a card pocket on the back free end page and a small label on the reverse side of that end page. It appears two other labels were removed from the back free ends page. There are tape markings on the inside and outside of the orange cloth boards and on the ends pages. The corners are bumped and there is moderate to heavy shelving wear along the edges of the boards - in a few small spots the cover has worn down to the cardboard underlay.

The price-clipped dust jacket is also in good condition. It is supple, rather than stiff, and has some small creases and dings consistent with numerous readings. There is some wear along the edges with a few small nicks, but no rips or tears. There is a small stain at the bottom front corner and some discoloration – probably from glue or tape – along the edges of the dust flaps. A library label is affixed to the base of the jacket spine. ISBN 0-901072-20-6
